01
Make submission rules clear.
Define which forms of assistance are permitted and which evidence accompanies a submission. Authors follow a clear process: record the session, bind the final file, and submit the manuscript and record together.
02
Separate verification from judging.
For anonymous competitions, a designated reviewer checks the record and shares only the necessary finding with the jury. Pay attention to session times, key identifiers and filenames: metadata can also affect anonymity.
- Compare the document version before passing it on.
- Separate technical verification from literary assessment.
- Resolve questions through an agreed contact channel.
03
Keep revisions clearly associated.
Editing changes the file. Archive the submitted version with its record and label subsequent versions separately. This keeps it clear which file a verification result concerns. Source checking, rights clearance and quality review retain their own place in the editorial process.
